Blackburn Fans Are Raging With Alex McLeish as Charlie Mulgrew Misses Bradford Clash

Blackburn Rovers fans have a bone to pick with Scotland boss Alex McLeish, after Charlie Mulgrew failed to make the squad for their League One game against Bradford City tonight.

Mulgrew captained Scotland during friendly matches against Costa Rica and Hungary during the international break, with McLeish looking to utilise the defender’s experience in his new-look side.

However, it appears that both of those fixtures have taken their toll on the 32-year-old’s body, as he’s been left out of tonight’s Blackburn squad.

Rovers boss Tony Mowbray had said earlier this week that a decision on whether his skipper could play would be made in the hours before the game at Ewood Park.

But with Mulgrew (who’s notched 12 goals in all competitions this season) missing from the line-up, Blackburn fans are raging with McLeish on Twitter:

Blackburn are currently third in League One, two points from first spot, with Wigan and table-toppers Shrewsbury also in the mix.
