Brendan Rodgers has told the Rangers players who cheered getting Celtic in the Scottish Cup that they should be careful what they wish for.
The Hoops manager faced the media this afternoon ahead of his side’s Scottish Premiership clash with their Glasgow rivals at Ibrox on Sunday.
And it was typically fascinating, with Rodgers giving his final public statements before the game.
After reports that Rangers players cheered drawing Celtic in last weekend’s semi-final draw, Rodgers was asked about it by the press.
His answer suggests Celtic are fully aware of it going into Sunday’s game:
.@CelticFC boss Brendan Rodgers on @RangersFC players who cheered cup draw. "Just be careful what you wish for". Stuart Armstrong and Dedryck Boyata back in squad.

Celtic go into the game with a six-point advantage over Rangers as well as a game in hand and a victory tomorrow should see off any talk of a potential title race.
The Hoops haven’t lost under Rodgers at Ibrox yet and they’ll feel confident going into it as a result.
But Rangers will also fancy themselves after putting six wins together on the bounce.
