Celtic Fans Starting to Get Very Frustrated About Charly Musonda’s Lack of Action

Celtic supporters watched their side limp to a disappointing 0-0 draw at Motherwell this afternoon – and there’s a lot of people starting to wonder what exactly is going on with Charly Musonda.

The on-loan Chelsea winger joined the Hoops amidst great fanfare during the January transfer window but has struggled to break into Brendan Rodgers’ starting XI, and was on the bench once again for today’s trip to Fir Park.

With the Hoops labouring to break down an opposition who’d been reduced to 10-men, you’d have thought a creative playmaker like Musonda would’ve been one of the first picks, right?

Well, Rodgers opted to bring on Patrick Roberts, Stuart Armstrong and Scott Sinclair in the second-half, leaving Musonda kicking his heels once again.

With Sinclair struggling for form, Musonda’s absence really does come across as quite perplexing to a lot of supporters watching at home:

Over the course of his 18-month loan deal from Stamford Bridge, Musonda will end up costing Celtic probably in the region on several million pounds, so are fans right to be asking questions?

What do you think?
