Motherwell’s Cédric Kipré Tweets His Outrage at Celtic Red Card

Motherwell defender Cédric Kipré has tweeted his outrage at being sent off against Celtic on Sunday afternoon, following a collision with Hoops captain Scott Brown.

Referee Craig Thomson issued the 21-year-old with a straight red card just before half-time in the 0-0 draw between the two sides at Fir Park, leaving Stephen Robinson’s men to play an entire half with just 10 men.

Despite their disadvantage, the Steel Men managed to survive a late Celtic onslaught to claim a point, but the damage seems to have already been done to Kipre.

After the match, Robinson revealed his player was left ‘distraught’ after the dismissal, and now the man himself has taken to social media to air his own anger at the incident:

It’s the second time this season Kipre has been dismissed against Celtic this season after being sent off in November’s League Cup final between the two teams.

Is he right to feel so aggrieved in this instance? What do you think?
