United were hot favourites to progress to the quarter-finals tonight, after securing a 0-0 draw away to Sevilla two weeks ago, but a Wissam Ben Yedder double secured the Spaniards a 2-1 win at Old Trafford, and sent Jose Mourinho’s men spiralling out.

Midway through the second-half, £89 million signing Pogba was summoned from the subs bench to inject a little bit of urgency into proceedings, but to call his performance woeful would be an understatement.
His passing was off, his positional play was all over the place, and he definitely doesn’t look like the player who helped Juventus reach the final in 2015 – and everybody on Twitter is noticing:
United got considerably worse when Pogba came on and Fellaini went off.

What a disgrace and disgusting performance. I blame Mourinho and players. No passion and desire to win and Pogba awful. Team need to hang there head in shame.

I’m not a United-fan, but I must say that Pogba sucks. United fans must be so frustrated.

If Pogba had played on Saturday, Liverpool would have won 10-0. Don't @ me.

Can’t believe he didn’t bring Pogba on either…

The Paul Pogba United sold for £500,000 is better than the one they bought for £89,000,000.

If Pogba is worth £90m, Nzonzi is worth £180m. Played the entire United midfield off the park.

Paul Pogba playing like your mate who thinks he's 10x better than everyone else at five a side but really isn't.

Pogba comes on in a big game, United give up a goal straight away, and I lie down in my grave plot to be buried alive by takes

Pogba and Alexis on a combined £850,000 a week, and legitimately are no better than Cattermole and Fabio Borini. Absolute scenes.

We’re in 2018 and people still try convince me Paul Pogba is a good footballer, calling him a dancing Mulumbu is an insult to Mulumbu himself

Of course, Pogba is taking a lot of the stick but surely some of this has to be laid at Jose Mourinho’s door, no?
What do you think?
