Video: Ander Herrera Gives Manchester United Fans Update on Injury

Ander Herrera has given Manchester United fans an update on the injury he picked up against Sevilla just under two weeks ago.

The Spanish midfielder lasted just 17 minutes of his side’s Champions League first league clash away in Sevilla, limping off with a muscle injury.

He obviously missed out on United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea last weekend and won’t be in their squad when they play against Crystal Palace on Monday night.

But there’s a chance he could be involved for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie after offering a little update to fans this afternoon.

Herrera posted a video to his Instagram to say that he’s feeling a lot better and is on the road to recovery – and we doubt he’d provide an update like that if he was looking at a long time out injured:

United have plenty of midfield options, of course, but Herrera returning to the squad will definitely help them going into a busy season run-in.

Jose Mourinho’s men are well in the hunt for a top four place and still have a chance of glory in the FA Cup and Champions League.
