Arsenal have taken a 2-0 lead into half-time during tonight’s Europa League clash with AC Milan… thanks to a stunning pair of assists from Mesut Ozil.
The German international has been at the top of his game for the first 45 minutes at the San Siro, with Gennaro Gattuso’s men struggling to contain him.
And he made Milan pay with just 15 minutes on the clock, as he found Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the Armenian international’s first ever goal in Arsenal colours.
He didn’t stop there either, as he provided another wonderful pass for Aaron Ramsey in the dying seconds of the first-half.
The ex-Real Madrid ace, who signed a new three-and-a-half year deal in January, slid an inch-perfect ball into Ramsey, whose footwork saw him get the better of Gianluigi Donnarumma:

Since arriving at the Emirates in 2013, Ozil has often been criticised for going missing in the big games, an argument which was used against the 29-year-old during back-to-back defeats against Manchester City.
However, it appears Ozil has more than shown up this evening… and he could be about to do more damage with the second-half about to get underway.
