Video: Hibs Have the Full Support of these Malawi Children Ahead of Edinburgh Derby

Ahead of tonight’s hotly-anticipated Edinburgh derby, Hibs have received a wave of support from the unlikeliest of sources… the Malawi Highlands.

The Hibees head into this evening’s game at Easter Road knowing that a victory would see them close the gap on third-placed Aberdeen, while a defeat would cut their lead over Hearts to just six points.

However, despite Jambos manager Craig Levein insisting that “natural order” had been restored after their victory in January, this group of Malawian children are firmly behind Neil Lennon’s side.

Twitter user @mallygraveson is currently visiting the African country and was quick to teach the kids who to support in tonight’s game:

The Hibees are on a decent run of form heading into the derby, having picked up three victories in their last four matches, including wins over Aberdeen and Rangers.

Meanwhile, Hearts are beset with injury problems with both Christophe Berra and John Souttar struggling to make the game.
