Leigh Griffiths missed today’s Old Firm clash due to injury – but the Celtic striker still managed to make his presence felt at the home of his club’s bitter rivals.
Griffiths has been on the sidelines after suffering a calf injury in the 1-0 home win over Hibs back in January, and Moussa Dembele led the Hoops’ attacking line at Ibrox this afternoon in his absence.

However, rather than resting up and taking in the match at home, Griffiths still made his way through to the South Side of Glasgow – not with his team-mates, but with the club’s band of travelling fans.
He took in a hectic first 45 minutes with the punters in the Broomloan Stand, and indulged in a bit of banter at half-time with some delighted onlookers:

Of course, Griffiths has tied Celtic scarves to the goal-posts at Ibrox previously, and it now appears this is becoming something of a tradition for the Scotland striker – whether he’s playing or not!
