Video: Liverpool Kid Rafael Camacho Scores a Beauty in U18 Win

Liverpool kid Rafael Camacho scored a beauty of a goal in their Under 18s win over Middlesbrough today.

The Portuguese youth international is one to watch in the club’s academy and has had spells training with Jurgen Klopp’s first team after impressing for the youth team.

He was in the starting line-up as Steven Gerrard’s team went up against Middlesbrough this afternoon and he got their 5-0 win off to a spectacular start when he curled into the top corner from 25 yards.

Camacho started the move brilliantly from the left and finished it off with a finish that Gerrard himself would have been proud of:

After seeing that, you can understand why Camacho has been attracting attention from Klopp and others at Anfield.

Liverpool’s big games are coming thick and fast and that may mean that the German coach is unable to hand as many matches to young players as he’d hope to.

But, if Camacho keeps performing like this then it won’t be long before he’s making serious inroads to the Liverpool first team squad.
