Mikael Lustig might not have been in the best form for Celtic this season but the full-back appeared to be back to his old self during Sweden training earlier today – as John Guidetti found out to his cost.
The Celtic vice-captain met up with his international team-mates ahead of the friendlies against Chile and Romania over the next week, and were put through their usual paces by manager Janne Andersson.
As most teams do nowadays, the Swedes started with a piggy-in-the-middle warm-up, or a ‘Rondo’ as the football hipsters might insist on calling it, and it wasn’t long before Guidetti’s soul was snatched from him at a moment’s notice.
Right-back Lustig casually managed to slip the ball between Guidetti’s legs like he wasn’t there – leaving the Alaves striker with nothing to else to do but walk off in disgust:

He’s taken a bit of stick from Hoops supporters of late, but a bit more of that flare when he returns and he’ll be back in the good books in no time.
Well played, Mikael.
