Video: Motherwell’s Cédric Kipré Promises Not to React in the Future

Motherwell defender Cédric Kipré has given his version of events surrounding his red card against Celtic last week, and promised not to react to provocation in the future.

The Frenchman was given his marching orders by referee Craig Thomson in Sunday’s 0-0 draw with the Hoops at Fir Park after a collision with Scott Brown, leaving his side to play the Premiership champions with ten men for the entire second-half.

Kipré and Motherwell have since appealed the dismissal and now the 21-year-old has explained how he sees the incident, and whilst he maintains his innocence, he has promised not to show any similar reaction in future matches:

Having played a key role in Motherwell’s impressive campaign, manager Stephen Robinson will no doubt be hoping their appeal is successful, but what do you think of the situation?

Should Kipré have been sent off? And is he right to say he won’t react again in the future?
