Charles Dunne drove around in the snow yesterday giving lifts home to anyone walking the streets.
The Motherwell defender was brave to take to the streets in his car after the country’s first ever red weather warning had been issued.
He documented some of his drive via Instagram Stories, telling how he couldn’t stand to see people walking around in several inches of snow.
So, Dunne decided to start offering them a lift home – and there were plenty who were happy to jump in his car.
Some were even happy enough to appear on camera, looking delighted to be out of the cold and in the warmth of Dunne’s motor:

That’s top class from Dunne – and another example of how not all footballers deserve the criticism they receive for what they do off the pitch.
With more snow falling today, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Englishman out on the roads again doing his bit for the community.
