Video: Neil McCann and Zander Clark Clash at End of Dundee v St Johnstone

Neil McCann and Zander Clark clashed at the end of St Johnstone‘s win over Dundee at Dens Park today.

The Dees manager would not have been happy after his side shipped four goals without reply in a very disappointing performance at home.

Going into the game, Dundee lost narrowly to Motherwell last weekend, but won at Partick Thistle the week before and would have hoped to bounce back with another victory.

The form of St Johnstone would have helped breed confidence in the Dundee ranks too, with the Saints winning just once in their previous seven games.

But it was a big performance and result for Tommy Wright’s men – and McCann’s day was made worse when cameras caught him clashing with Saints sub goalie Clark at the full-time whistle:

We’ve no idea what led to the incident between the pair, but it doesn’t reflect well on the Dundee manager given it was an opposing player he clashed with.

With that result, St Johnstone keep ground with the top six while moving away from relegation danger.

But, for Dundee, they’re now just three points in front of Partick Thistle, who currently sit in the relegation play-off place.
