Oli McBurnie just can’t stop scoring for Barnsley – and his latest effort was an absolute beauty.
If the Tykes manage to stay in the English Championship by the end of the season then the Scottish striker will have played a big part in it with his goals.
Since signing on loan from Swansea in January, he’d scored five goals in seven games going into last night’s match with Norwich.
That form had led to McBurnie earning a place in Alex McLeish’s first Scotland squad for the upcoming friendlies with Costa Rica and Hungary.
And he marked the call-up by getting in on the goals again, scoring Barnsley’s opener against the Carrow Road side last night.
It was a brilliant finish that showed exactly what McBurnie is all about in front of goal:
This bodes well for McBurnie at the start of his Scotland career and it should see him at least get some significant game time in both friendlies at the end of the month.
