Video: Paul Gascoigne Throws Back to Goal v Celtic…Jokes It Took Time Away From Fishing

Paul Gascoigne has been taking a stroll down memory lane ahead of this weekend’s Old Firm clash by throwing back to one of goals against Celtic – and joking that it took time away from his precious fishing.

The two Glasgow giants meet this weekend at Ibrox and Gascoigne will be an interested spectator as his old side look to cut Celtic’s lead at the top of the Premiership to just three points.

In his day, Rangers tended to be the team always out in-front of their bitter rivals and Gascoigne was often at the forefront of their victories.

Earlier this evening, the former England international shared a clip of a clash between the two teams from September 1996, where he and Richard Gough did just enough to secure all three points:
