Scotland international Snodgrass and ex-Arsenal midfielder Lansbury were given highlights of December’s match against Leeds United to watch, while applying their own “unclassic commentary.”
The game eventually ended in a 1-1 draw at Elland Road, with Lansbury scoring an emphatic equaliser for Villa after being brought on from the bench.
However, the highlight of the pair’s dip into the commentary booth has to be their analysis of ex-Rangers defender Hutton.
Lansbury instantly refers to Hutton as the “Scottish Cafu” when the veteran 33-year-old receives the ball to feet, before he’s quickly dispossessed in his own half.
Snodgrass then quips that “that’s not what Cafu does…”
Snodgrass as quick-witted as ever!
Villa are enjoying a fantastic season in the English Championship, with Steve Bruce’s side sitting third in the table and just four points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
