Video: Romelu Lukaku Trolls Dedryck Boyata Over Playing For Rangers

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has been trolling Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata today, over the prospect of the centre-back playing for Rangers.

Both players are currently in the Belgium squad for their World Cup warm-up friendly against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday night, but today’s team meeting was clearly a boring one.

That prompted Lukaku to take to Instagram, and quickly reference to the Hoops’ bitter rivals:

We’re not entirely sure if Lukaku is hinting at Boyata’s recent horror show against Rangers, which almost gifted the Gers a win at Ibrox earlier this month, or if he thinks simply bringing up Rangers will annoy Boyata.

With players like Lukaku, Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard in their squad, we had been thinking Belgium must be considered one of the favourites to win the World Cup this summer, but having realised they have Boyata in their ranks, we’ll need to have a serious rethink.

What do you make of Lukaku’s attempts at trolling the Celtic man?
