Scotland stars are preparing for Friday’s game with Costa Rica with some Fortnite sessions.
The hugely popular battle royale game has unsurprisingly swept its way to football players, including Scottish trio Oli McBurnie, Jason Cummings and Callum Paterson.
We’ve already seen Paterson roll out the Fortnite celebrations after scoring recently for Cardiff.
And McBurnie makes no secret of his love for the game, regularly posting about it on social media since its emergence to the mainstream earlier this year.
He’s joined up with the Scotland national team for the first time this week after being called up to Alex McLeish’s first squad.
That gives him an opportunity reconnect with Cummings, who he struck up a bond with while in the Under 21 squad.
And we weren’t surprised to see them playing Fortnite together:

Getting a duo win in Fortnite is no mean feat!
Cummings also shared a picture of his screen while playing the game, tagging Paterson and indicating the former Hearts man was also involved:
Ryan Fraser was actually involved earlier in the week too, sharing an Instagram Story, that has since automatically vanished, which showed him playing alongside Paterson.
Given the teamwork needed to win at Fortnite, we reckon this is a very good warm up away from the pitch for a new batch of Scottish stars.
