Video: Young Fan Puts Patrick Roberts on the Spot By Asking if He’s Staying For 10IAR

Patrick Roberts was put on the spot earlier this evening as a brazen young Celtic supporter asked him if he plans on staying in Glasgow to help secure an historic 10 consecutive league titles.

Roberts is due to return to parent club Manchester City this summer after two-and-a-half years with the Hoops, and the chances of Pep Guardiola sanctioning a third season on-loan at Parkhead would seem pretty slim.

The England youth international was taking part in a brilliant Q&A session with Laurie Ross Insurance tonight, and he was quickly asked for his thoughts on his future at club level:

Of course, Celtic could always push the boat out and try and buy Roberts from City, but a player of his calibre would undoubtedly cost a small fortune.

If Celtic do win 10-in-a-row, they’ll complete it in the year 2021 – is there any chance Roberts could still be around by then?
