Arsenal Twitter Poll Proves Fans Are Worried About Drawing Atletico Madrid

Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted a poll in the aftermath of the Europa League semi-final draw pairing them with Atletico Madrid – and it shows how worried fans are.

The Gunners booked their spot in the last four with a 6-3 aggregate victory over CSKA Moscow, sealed with a 2-2 draw in Russia last night.

Considering they’ll miss out on Champions League qualification in the Premier League for next season, victory in the Europa League would give them a passage to the competition.

But now Atletico stand in their way – and that’s bound to make their bid for glory harder.

Arsenal’s Twitter posted a poll asking for supporters to give their emoji reaction to the draw and the results, after over 22,000 votes suggests they’re worried:

The first leg of the semi-final tie will be played at the Emirates later this month before the second leg in Madrid a week later.

For the sake of more Twitter meltdowns, we hope Arsene Wenger’s men can produce a good performance across both legs to give them their best chance of going through.
