The exciting young winger joined on-loan from Chelsea during the January transfer window, but has been unable to force his way into Brendan Rodgers’ first XI, and tonight’s Premiership clash against Neil McCann’s relegation-threatened side was no different.
65' – #CelticFC sub:
➡️ Leigh Griffiths
➡️ Odsonne Edouard
➡️ Olivier Ntcham
⬅️ Moussa Dembele
⬅️ Scott Sinclair
⬅️ Tom Rogic

Despite struggling badly to break Dundee down throughout, Rodgers opted to keep Musonda on the subs bench for the entire 90 minutes, and brought on Olivier Ntcham, Odsonne Edouard and Moussa Dembele.
The Premiership title might be all but wrapped up – but there’s plenty of Hoops supporters who are far from happy with some of the selections tonight:
Wee Musonda is gonna forget what a football looks like fs

Baffling that Musonda and/or Roberts would not be brought on in a game like this.

Please leave at the end of the season Brendan
Can't score against Dundee and leave Musonda and paddy on the bench 👏👏👏

Keech. Thought Musonda was made for games like that? Didn't get suddenly pairing up Griffiths and Eddy.

Canny wrap my head around Commper and Musonda. Few mill between them to watch from the stands.

I live for the day Musonda starts a league game in his proper position with Roberts on the other wing

There was 20 odd clubs after Musonda, yet we just refuse to start him. Mid week, league wrapped up, why not play him? I don’t get this

Musonda was getting some appearances for the first team at Chelsea before leaving for us, and you're telling me he can't get a game against Dundee? 🤔
— William (@ThatGuyGoldie) April 4, 2018
That was dreadful. We were struggling to create, absolutely crying out for Roberts or Musonda. Really, really poor.
— Sean (@Seanoward4) April 4, 2018
Really disappointing that Musonda isn't getting more game time. Couldn't do any worse than Sinclair at the moment. #Celtic

What does Musonda need to do to get a game…
— ScottishBhoy (@Dec95Menzies) April 4, 2018
Celtic spent a fair few quid on bringing Musonda to Scotland, so are the fans right? Should he be given more of a chance?
Or is Brendan Rodgers right to hold him back?
