Celtic Fans Are Bemused By Marvin Compper’s Absence Again Tonight

Celtic are in action against Dundee tonight but there’s no sign of Marvin Compper in the match-day squad – and Hoops supporters are beginning to wonder where he is.

The experienced 32-year-old centre-back was signed from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig in the January transfer window but has barely been seen in the iconic green and white shirt.

Compper has played just one match since joining Brendan Rodgers’ side, and that came in the 3-0 win over Morton in the Scottish Cup on March 3.

A home match against relegation-threatened Dundee might have been the perfect opportunity to get more game time into his legs, but fans were left bemused when the team-sheet was released this evening with no sign of Compper, who is apparently fully fit:

Rodgers has been known to let his new signings have a lot of time to bed in to their new surroundings, but you would’ve thought we’d have seen more of Compper by now, eh?

What do you think?
