Harry Kane Has Been Savagely Trolled After Spurs Officially Appealed His ‘Goal’

Harry Kane has been brutally savaged on social media today after his club appealed his alleged ‘goal’ against Stoke City at the weekend.

The England striker is in the running to win the Premier League’s Golden Boot award as the division’s top-scorer for the third season running, and every goal really seems to matter to the Tottenham forward.

Going into the weekend’s round of fixtures, Kane was firmly behind Liverpool’s Mo Salah in the race to win the award, with the Egyptian five goals ahead.

Playing against relegation-threatened Stoke on Saturday, you’d have fancied Kane to add to his tally of 20, and he thought he had in the second-half of the 2-1 victory.

Kane was adamant that Eriksen’s whipped cross had brushed his shoulder before crossing the line, but despite Tottenham formally appealing to the Premier League on their player’s behalf, fans of rival clubs are having absolutely none of it – and some of the comments are absolutely priceless:

Do you reckon it was Kane’s goal? What do you think?
