Celtic legend Henrik Larsson has made fans’morning after appearing on Soccer AM with Hoops fan Kevin Bridges.
The Swede remains an absolute icon among the Parkhead faithful after his seven-year spell ended in 2004 wheh he moved to Barcelona.
However, the forward was almost Public Enemy No.1 just a short while later after netting for Barca against his old side.
Larsson emerged from the bench to find the net in the Spanish side’s 3-1 win at Parkhead to the heartbreak of supporters everywhere.
And he has joked that he was annoyed with the fans when they started singing that Bobo Balde was about to take him out.
He said: “It was so quiet.
“I got a little bit annoyed when the Celtic fans started ‘Bobo’s gonna get ye!’
He added: “He’s the biggest player I’ve ever seen – and he used to wear studds in training. Seriously.
“He’d step on your feet all the time. I’d say ‘Bobo, come on, we’re just training here.'”
