The Hoops will take on Martin O’Neill’s international squad on May 20 – a day after the Scottish Cup final against Motherwell – to mark Brown’s decade of service to the Parkhead club.
Larsson played in a charity match back in Glasgow for his old side last year, where he scored a hat-trick, and now the Swede will be pulling on the iconic Hooped shirt at least one more time this summer, according to the Sun.
The news might seem slightly surprising considering the duo never actually shared a pitch during Larsson’s seven-year stint in Scotland, but he did take part in Brown’s golf day last month, as part of his testimonial celebrations.
He might be 46 now, but we’re still willing to bet Henrik Larsson is still one of the best players on the pitch next month.
