Liverpool Fans Are Savagely Trolling Man City’s Fernandinho This Afternoon

Liverpool fans are getting stuck into Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho this afternoon – after the Brazilian international labelled Jurgen Klopp‘s men a ‘long-ball team’.

The two Premier League giants meet for the fourth time this season tomorrow night when they face-off in the second-leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Etihad, less than a week on from Liverpool’s stunning 3-0 victory in the first-leg.

However, despite the Reds managing to score an impressive seven goals in their last two outings against Pep Guardiola’s gaggle of superstars, it seems Fernandinho hasn’t been entirely impressed.

The 32-year-old midfielder was put up in-front of the media this afternoon to answer questions ahead of tomorrow night’s showdown, and his characterisation of Liverpool’s style of play definitely raised some eyebrows – and it wasn’t missed on social media either:

Liverpool have been credited as playing some of the most eye-pleasing football in the entire continent this season, so what do you make of Fernandinho’s comments?

Is he trying to wind-up his opponents?
