The Egyptian attacker went up against his fellow countryman in the game at the Hawthorns and looked like he’d end up on the winning side after putting Liverpool 2-0 up in the 72nd minute.
But West Brom recovered through goals from Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon to earn a draw.
So both seemed happy enough after the game as they joked on Twitter about a moment in the match when Hegazi slapped Salah while heading a ball.
Hegazi tweeted a picture alongside Salah while saying it was good to see him.
And Salah responded by saying he had a heavy hand, with his message in Arabic translated to: “You punch in the match and come here say happy to see my brother… you have a heavy hand.”
انت بتضرب في الماتش وتيجي هنا تقولي happy to see my brother ..😄😄brother مين بقا ايدك تقيله اوي 👊🏼

Danny Ings opened the scoring in the game before Salah hit the second of the afternoon for Liverpool, but those West Brom goals denied them three points that would have definitely helped their push for the top four.
