Rangers Fans Are Wondering What Jason Cummings Has to do to Get a Start

Rangers were victorious over Dundee at Ibrox this afternoon – but a lot of fans went away unhappy after Jason Cummings was left kicking his heels on the subs bench once again.

The striker’s eccentric celebration and ability to score goals made him an instant favourite amongst the club’s supporters after he joined on-loan from Nottingham Forest back in January.

But the ex-Hibs frontman has seems to have struggled to win over Graeme Murty, and has managed to start just three Premiership matches for the Gers so far.

Recently, Murty’s side have struggled to break down stubborn defences at home, so you’d have thought the visit of relegation-threatened Dundee would be the perfect opportunity for Cummings to get some game time, right?

Well, apparently not, as Cummings was left out in favour of Alfredo Morelos and 38-year-old veteran Kenny Miller – and he didn’t even manage to get off the bench at all for any of the 90 minutes.

His absence didn’t go unnoticed on social media:

It would probably take a seven-figure fee to sign Cummings permanently in the summer, as well as significant wages – but would he want to stay?

What do you think?
