Fans Asked to Release Balloons at Hampden in Touching Tribute to Koa Brock

Fans Asked to Release Balloons at Hampden in Touching Tribute to Koa Brock

Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final clash between Celtic and Rangers looks set to be one of the most pulsating games of the year, however, it will also be one of heartbreak for the family of Koa Brock.

Eight-month old Koa is currently on life support after being stuck down by meningitis and his family have since tragically confirmed that the little boy “isn’t going to pull through”.

But in what would be a thoroughly touching tribute, Koa’s dad Barry has asked fans who make the trip to the Hampden showpiece to release a balloon in the tot’s memory before kick-off:

It’s being reported that Gers fans have already banded together to raise around £2,000 for Koa, after a crowdfunding page was created to support his grief-stricken family.

Koa’s mum Haley has also said that her son will become an organ donor when he eventually loses his battle with the harrowing infection.

Rangers and Celtic fans may be divided when it comes to supporting their teams… but we have no doubt that the people of Glasgow will come together and give Koa a brilliant tribute on Sunday!
