Rangers’ Friday afternoon press conference has passed without any official updates from the club.
It’s been a week of turmoil again for the Ibrox club following their 4-0 defeat to Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden on Sunday.
That performance and result was bad enough, but the suspension of Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace over a heated dressing room exchange with manager Graeme Murty has just added to their problems.
Murty speaking publicly this afternoon for the first time since that game would have made for interesting listening.
But it looks unlikely that supporters will get to find out what was said at the press conference as the club’s media team hasn’t produced any coverage of it.
At the time of writing (2.24pm), there have been no updates across any social media platform and nothing on their YouTube channel either.
Clyde 1 Superscoreboard were there as part of the broadcast part of the presser and have shared a couple of lines from it:
Graeme Murty says if he can “get through this week he can get through anything”.
Says Andy Halliday is still raw and hurting after coming off after 40 mins in the Old Firm game.
On Miller and Wallace: “It’s an internal matter for the club, no one will be commenting on that” pic.twitter.com/qbzsV9ZP8Z

But it is unusual for the club not to have put anything official out on what was said in the press conference.
And fans have noticed:
So Rangers had a presser and didn't do updates on Twitter. Wonder if it will be uploaded on YouTube???

The fact that @RangersFC have decided not to tweet the presser today, which they do for every game, and just pretending like nothing has happened this past week just shows how fucking out of touch the board are. . Its fucking getting embarrassing now

.just when you need strong PR the ball is dropped again @RangersFC couldn’t make this up.

@RangersFC you not cover today’s presser? Or did you forget it was on?

Fans should be able to see video footage of Murty’s presser via a broadcast outlet who filmed it earlier – so it not going out on YouTube would only delay supporters seeing it.
