Video: Bundesliga Announce Niko Kovac as Bayern Munich Boss With Brilliant Portrait

The Bundesliga have taken a very artistic approach in unveiling new Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac… using nothing more than a few pencils and a sheet of paper.

Yes, in the social media-driven world that we now live in, where team’s compete to unveil new signings in the most bizarre ways imaginable, the German league have went back to basics with this portrait of Kovac.

The 46-year-old is currently at the helm of Eintracht Frankfurt – who sit fifth in the table, 26 points adrift of Kovac’s new employers – who already have the league title in the bag.

It’s a move which could be considered a real gamble by Bayern, especially as their last three managers (Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and Jupp Heynckes) boast a combined haul of 52 major titles.

Meanwhile, Kovac is yet to win any silverware in his relatively short managerial career.

But if Kovac can get as creative as this artist, the ex-Croatia boss will win the fans over in no time:

 

Kovac won’t take the reigns at the Allianz Arena until the end of the season, with Heynckes to remain in charge for Bayern’s mouth-watering Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid.
