With speculation intensifying that Brendan Rodgers may harbour an interest in replacing Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, one Celtic supporter has told the guys over at Clyde Superscoreboard there’s no chance the Hoops boss will give up on being “the king of the castle.”
This afternoon, Wenger announced his intention to leave the Gunners at the end of the season, with attention immediately turning to who has the ability to replace the legendary Frenchman.
One of the names at the top of the list appears to be Rodgers, with the Irishman on course to secure a historic double treble this term at Celtic Park.
And while the bookmakers and Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas have the ex-Liverpool man as one of the firm favourites, this Celtic supporter isn’t having it.
Hoops fan Tam believes Rodgers is the same sort of character as a Henrik Larsson or Walter Smith – the kind of guy who likes being the star of the show.
He added that Rodgers won’t have any desire to leave the Celtic fans who clearly adore him:
On tonight's @ClydeSSB with @Ladbrokes, @shinjukushug said if @Arsenal come knocking, Brendan Rodgers will be going. On the other hand, Tam in Clydebank declared that there is 'not a chance' the @CelticFC manager will leave even if the London club want him.

Will Rodgers being linked with a return to the English Premier League have any baring on Celtic’s form as they near the end of the season?
Or is the speculation surrounding Rodgers nothing more than paper-talk?
