Charly Musonda has delivered a timely reminder that he’s fit and raring to go, despite being out of favour with Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.
Musonda arrived at Celtic Park during the January transfer window, with his parent club Chelsea keen to give the highly-rated winger some first-team experience.
However, the 21-year-old has struggled to make any real impact north of the border, with Rodgers seemingly favouring the more battle-hardened options of James Forrest, Tom Rogic and Scott Sinclair.
In fact, Rodgers delivered the clearest signal yet that he doesn’t like what he sees in Musonda, when he left the youngster out of Celtic’s squad which dismantled Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final last week.
Not that Musonda is struggling for sharpness though, as he showed on his Instagram earlier today, with this clip of him juggling the ball on the training pitch:
Translated, Musonda’s caption reads, “always enjoying my passion”.
A sign perhaps that he’s not allowing his ill-fated spell at Celtic get the better of him?
Celtic fans, where do you sit on Musonda’s future… should he get a run out against Hibs this weeked?
