Having come through the ranks at Rangers, and established himself as one of the Ibrox club’s most promising talents for many years, Gilmour faced considerable criticism for his decision to swap potential first team opportunities in Scotland this season for a place in the youth squad of the English Premier League champions.
But it seems the 16-year-old is starting to standout for the Blues too, as his excellent strike at the Emirates tonight proves:
