Video: Kasper Schmeichel Does His Best Christian Eriksen Impression With Free-Kicks in Training

Kasper Schmeichel has clearly been paying close attention to Christian Eriksen‘s technique while on international duty, with the Leicester goalkeeper proving he has an eye for the perfect free-kick.

Schmeichel, who plays alongside Eriksen for Denmark, uploaded this impressive video to his Instagram account earlier today, during which he scores two terrific free-kicks.

Granted, Eriksen has shown on numerous occasions for both club and country that he can produce these moments of magic when the pressure is on… but it’s still a brilliant piece of skill from the Foxes stopper:

Whether it’s enough to convince Leicester boss Claude Puel or Denmark manager Åge Hareide to let Schmeichel take a set-piece in a competitive fixture is beyond doubtful.

But it can’t hurt to have players with this skill in your starting XI.

And it’s certainly difficult to imagine Kasper’s father and former Man United stopper Peter being able to do anything close to similar!
