Video: Liverpool Fans Pelt the Man City Team Bus as it Enters Anfield

Liverpool fans pelted the Manchester City team bus with cans, bottles and even flares as Pep Guardiola‘s side arrived at Anfield tonight.

The two Premier League giants square off in Merseyside tonight in the Champions League quarter-finals first-leg, and as we told you several weeks ago, the Reds supporters have been planning a hostile ‘welcome’ for their visitors for some time now.

Most of the pre-match excitement amongst Liverpool fans has appeared to be good natured, but various different missiles were definitely thrown in the direction of City’s coach, and several journalists have been reporting that significant damage has been caused:

It remains to be seen if the action on the pitch lives up to the electric atmosphere outside the stadium, but if these scenes are anything to go by, we could be in for an absolute cracker.
