Video: Olivier Giroud’s Goal For Chelsea Today Was a Bit Sublime

Olivier Giroud continued to win over the Chelsea fans’ hearts this afternoon by scoring an absolutely sublime goal in the FA Cup semi-final.

With Manchester United beating Spurs in yesterday’s first semi-final, the Blues knew the carrot of facing Jose Mourinho’s side in next month’s final was awaiting if they could get past relegation-threatened Southampton.

After a goalless and, to be honest, a pretty dull first-half, it looked like it could even be extra-time before we’d know the outcome of today’s clash.

But former Arsenal forward Giroud was in one of his creative moods in the second-half, and he decided to take things by the scruff of the neck:

That’s the 31-year-old’s fourth goal since moving from the Emirates in the January transfer window, but we’re willing to bet it won’t be his last in the club’s blue shirt.

What do you think of the slaloming finish?
