Video: Rangers Target James McArthur Scores Slick Goal For Crystal Palace

Rangers target James McArthur scored a pretty slick goal for Crystal Palace this afternoon, as the Eagles edge away from the Premier League’s relegation zone.

The Scotland international was strongly linked with a move to Ibrox this summer earlier this week, with his contract at Selhurst Park expiring at the end of the current campaign.

But if the speculation surrounding his future is distracting him, he certainly isn’t showing it, as Leicester City found out to their cost this afternoon.

The 30-year-old did brilliantly to spin on the spot after receiving a pass from Wilfried Zaha, before coolly firing the ball past a helpless Kasper Schmeichel:

It remains to be seen if McArthur will move back home to Scotland or not, or if Steven Gerrard will be his manager, but if he does end up at Ibrox, they’ll be getting a genuinely top class talent.

How do you think McArthur would fare at Rangers?
