Wolves‘ march towards the Premier League continued apace tonight, after a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Derby, and midfielder Rúben Neves stole the headlines by scoring a genuine goal of the season contender.

The Midlands club look all set for top-flight football next season after a brilliant campaign under Nuno Espírito Santo, and tonight’s victory takes them 11 points clear at the top of The Championship.

Neves has been one of their stars since his surprise move from Porto last summer but tonight’s moment of brilliance was probably the highlight so far of his time in England.

The 21-year-old Portugal international nabbed his sixth goal of the season – and he did it in absolutely remarkable style:

Wolves shelled out almost £16 million for Neves when they bought him, but they can be very confident of recouping more than double that if they decide to cash in this summer.

Surely this is one of the best volleys you’ve ever seen?
