Zlatan Ibrahimovic introduced himself to American TV audiences last night – and football fans across the pond are now well and truly in love with the enigma known as ‘Ibra’.
Having left Manchester United to join LA Galaxy last month, Zlatan has made a big impact since joining the MLS, and scored a stunning brace on his debut against city rivals Los Angeles FC.
Despite turning 37 later this year, the former Inter, AC Milan and Barcelona striker was still as playful as ever in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, one of America’s highest-rated talk shows.
Despite the host (and probably most of the audience) not knowing a great deal about football, Zlatan still managed to have them eating out of his hands within a few moments of sitting down – and he even revealed that he’s going to this summer’s World Cup in Russia:
Personally, we were sad to see him leave the UK, but we have a special feeling that Zlatan and the USA are tailor-made for one another.
How do you think he’ll fare State side?
