Arsenal Fans Demand Diego Simeone as New Boss After Ateltico Win Europa League

Ateltico Madrid secured the Europa League trophy on Wednesday night – and left Arsenal fans all over country demanding their club break the bank to secure Diego Simeone.

The Argentine super-coach was suspended for tonight’s final against Marseille in Lyon but watched from the stands as his ruthless side ran out 3-0 winners on the night.

The victory cements Simeone’s reputation as one of the greatest managers in Ateltico’s long and illustrious history, with his trophy haul standing at two Europa Leagues, one La Liga title, one Copa Del Rey and one European Super Cup – as well as reaching two Champions League finals – in his seven-year reign so far.

Simeone is contracted to the club until 2020, and will no doubt fancy a crack at winning the Champions League again next season – but there’s a lot of Gooners out there who are hoping Ivan Gazidis and co make him an offer he simply couldn’t refuse:

Is there any chance at all that Diego Simeone could be the next Arsenal boss?

What do you think?
