Arsenal Legend Tony Adams Really Annoyed by Club’s Instagram Post

Arsenal‘s legendary former captain Tony Adams has hit out at his former club over one of their posts on Instagram earlier today.

The former England international is widely regarded as one of the Gunners’ most accomplished defenders in modern times, and led the north London club to two Premier League titles and three FA Cups during his glittering 19-year career.

But since retiring back in 2002, Adams’ relationship with Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger in particular, has not bee great, and it seems relations are only getting worse.

The club’s official Instagram account posted a picture of Wenger alongside Patrick Vieira, both of whom are proudly showing off their array of silverware won that particular season.

The image definitely gives you the feel that Vieira was the club captain at this point, but he most certainly wasn’t:

Is it sad to see such an iconic Arsenal man so distant from the club?

What do you think?
