Celtic Fan Gives Funny Update on Odsonne Edouard’s Future

A Celtic fan has given a funny update on Odsonne Edouard’s future at the club.

The French forward is technically now solely a Paris Saint-Germain player again after his season-long loan at Celtic ended after their Scottish Cup Final win over Motherwell.

He wasn’t involved in the game, going down with a hamstring injury against Hearts at Tynecastle earlier this month and failing to recover in time for the big day at Hampden.

That was personally disappointing for Edouard, while supporters would have been sad to see him on the sidelines for Saturday’s game.

But it looks likely he’ll be back at Celtic after the summer – with the Parkhead club believed to have until the end of next month to activate their purchase clause on the Frenchman.

No one knows for definite what’s going on though – so this supporter’s update on the situation is as good a report as any. And it’s pretty funny:

Need proof? Darren provided it:

His trolley being full is as good an indicator as any right now that he’s staying in Glasgow for the long haul.

Edouard has 11 goals in 29 appearances for Celtic this season, including three against Rangers as well as goals versus Hibs, Hearts and Motherwell.
