Celtic Fans Given Chance to Play at Parkhead By Club Sponsors Magners

Celtic fans have been given the chance to play out their dream and run out at Parkhead later this month thanks to club sponsors Magners.

The Hoops wrapped up their seventh consecutive Scottish Premiership title on Sunday with an emphatic 5-0 victory over rivals Rangers.

Academy products James Forrest and Callum McGregor both found the net while Kieran Tierney celebrated with supporters before being named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.

Now, those fans who feel like they could have turned out for their boyhood heroes have the chance to do just that with Magners’ latest ‘Hoops and Dreams’ campaign.

A number of players will grace the turf of Celtic Park on May 15 as they get to replicate the actions of their heroes.

All they have to do is tell Magners why they could have been a footballer back in the day.

George Kyle, head of sponsorship at Magners said: “Magners Irish Cider is a proud supporter of Celtic FC and we’re delighted to be able to offer fans the chance to play on the pitch at Paradise to fulfil their “hoops and dreams”.

“Rather than continuing to bore your mates with tales of how you could have been a player, now is your chance to prove it.

“We look forward to reading through the stories of unfulfilled dreams and cheering on the players at Celtic Park on 15th May.”
