Chelsea Fans Simply Don’t Believe the Rumours of a £100M Move for Robert Lewandowski

Chelsea are being linked with a sensational bid for Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski this summer, with a figure of £100 million being touted in some reports – but the club’s loyal fans definitely aren’t getting too excited.

The Blues are currently about to enter what looks like something of a rebuilding stage this summer, with manager Antonio Conte tipped to leave after two seasons in London, and record signing Alvaro Morata also linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge too.

And the Telegraph are claiming that whoever the new Chelsea manager transpires to be will have the use of Lewandowski next season, with owner Roman Abramovich sanctioning a splurge of the highest order to capture one of world football’s most feared strikers.

But given the fees mentioned, and the fact that Lewandowski turns 30 this August, and the fact that Chelsea won’t be playing Champions League football next summer, there’s a lot of supporters out there who simply refuse to believe the incredible move is going to happen:

The response from this lot seems pretty emphatic, but what do you make of the reports?

Is there any way Chelsea could really pull this off?
