Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger and Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich Pulled Apart During Germany Training

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger and Bayern full-back Joshua Kimmich had to be pulled apart during Germany training this afternoon, after Julian Draxler was left clutching his face on the turf.

Joachim Low’s 23-man squad is one of the most talented appearing at the World Cup in Russia next month and it appears competition amongst the star-studded group is beginning to heat up.

The Germans have two friendlies against Austria and Saudi Arabia before their opening World Cup fixture against Mexico on June 16 but it appears most of the squad are raring to go right now.

Apparently, in today’s session, Chelsea’s Rudiger was being closely-marked by Kimmich at a corner-kick, and he quickly became frustrated with the attention he was getting.

Rudiger isn’t thought to be a first-choice for Low, but perhaps if he just batters all of his competitors then he’ll be in the starting line-up on June 16, eh?

Do you fancy the Germans to claim the World Cup this summer?
