Everyone Thinks Arsene Wenger is About to Take Over at Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane has shocked Spanish football by announcing he’s stepping down from his role at Real Madrid – and there’s a lot of people of the opinion that Arsene Wenger is the man to replace him.

The mercurial Zidane sealed Real’s third consecutive Champions League trophy against Liverpool last Saturday and leaves the La Liga giants having never lost a knockout European tie.

But the French World Cup winner obviously wants to leave the Bernabeu on a high – leaving the door open for someone to continue his excellent work.

Having left Arsenal earlier this summer, Arsene Wenger is looking for a job for the first time in 22 years, and having admitted he turned down Madrid earlier in his career, could this be his chance to finally challenge properly for a European trophy?

Do you think Wenger will end up as the next Real Madrid boss? And would he do a good job in Spanish football?
