Hearts Winger David Milinkovic Brands Hibs ‘Snakes’ After Edinburgh Derby Win

Hearts midfielder David Milinkovic has taken a swipe at city rivals Hibs in the wake of last night’s Edinburgh Derby – branding Neil Lennon’s side snakes on Instagram.

The winger played his part as the Jambos secured a 2-1 victory at Tynecastle on Wednesday night, courtesy of goals from Kyle Lafferty and Steven Naismith, in a result which means Hibs can no longer finish second in the Premiership this season.

But, as if that disappointment wasn’t enough, Milinkovic decided to stick the boot in further, with the on-loan 23-year-old making good use of his snake emoji on his Instagram story:

Milinkovic, who is currently on a season-long loan from Italian side Genoa, has become a cult hero to the Hearts’ faithful after a string of impressive displays under Craig Levein.

And his etiquette of slagging off Hibs on social media probably doesn’t hurt his case either.

Should Hearts go all-out to keep Milinkovic at the club next season?
