Jack Wilshere took a fan’s offer of a lads holiday to Zante well after missing out on England‘s World Cup squad.
The Arsenal midfielder is reportedly set to be absent from Gareth Southgate’s squad for the trip to Russia this summer.
The squad is announced this afternoon and everything points towards Wilshere being missing – something we’re certain he’ll be devastated about after a decent season at the Emirates.
But he’s hiding the disappointment well in this response to one cheeky fan who offered him a spot on a lads holiday to Zante this summer while the World Cup is on:
Wilshere quickly followed that up asking if he could bring his baby too:
Wilshere is no doubt gutted, but it’s good to see him making fun of it all on Twitter.
And we’d absolutely love if he followed up on the fan’s offer to get involved on the holiday.
Wilshere made 38 appearances in total for Arsenal this season, putting any injury issues behind him to contribute consistently in Arsene Wenger’s final campaign at the club.
Should he be in the England squad?
